Quantum Energetic Disciplines™

Quantum Energetic  Disciplines™, developed by Jo Dunning, are powerful,  transformational energy techniques that can assist us in improving those areas in our lives where we would like to see change.

The power and validity of these techniques is scientifically supported by the principles discovered in Quantum Physics. This science studies the smallest particles, how they interact with each other, and the influences of invisible forces upon those particles. 

These discoveries in Quantum Physics support the concept of an invisible force connecting all of us. Research indicates through the focus of attention and intention of the observer, measurable changes take place in scientifically predictable and repeatable ways.

Practitioners of Quantum Energetic Disciplines™ are trained to connect with the Source of these energies and to direct the energies to create the desired changes.

With the growth of awareness of Quantum Energetic Disciplines™, the techniques have been offered at various healthcare institutions and in many private practices across the country.

Client Preparation: Before the session, clients are asked to prepare a list of a few things in their lives that they would like to have different.

Telephone Session: After a brief introduction, the client will experience multiple energetic processes. Between processes, the client will have an opportunity to discuss experiences and influence the direction of the session. 

In-Person Session: An in-person session is very much like a telephone session, except that the client sits across from the practitioner. In-person sessions also provide the opportunity for hands-on techniques, if appropriate for the situation.

Group Sessions (in person): These sessions offer clients a unique opportunity to experience individual results in their own specific areas, simultaneously with the rest of the group.  Participants are invited to comment or ask questions after each process; however, this is not required. Group Teleconferences: Group teleconferences are similar to the in-person group sessions, except that callers' lines are typically muted throughout the entire call as they are led through the processes. As with an individual telephone session, one advantage here is that callers can participate from wherever they are. Reiki

The word Reiki (pronounced RAY-key) is formed from two Japanese words, rei and ki. Rei means universal and ki is life energy, the energy that flows through all living things and connects us to one another. 

Reiki is an ancient method of relaxation and stress reduction that promotes healing. It was rediscovered over a century ago by Dr. Mikao Usui, an educator and religious scholar, who found sacred texts containing the mysteries of an ancient healing system.

After finding these sacred texts, Dr. Usui embarked upon a 21-day fast and sat in meditation on top of Mount Kuryama in Japan. During this period, the mysteries of the sacred texts were revealed to him and he received the ability to give Reiki and to awaken it in others. Today, Reiki practitioners can trace their Reiki lineage back to Dr. Mikao Usui. 

Reiki practitioners have been trained to draw upon Universal Life Energy and act as channels of this energy, whether in person or from a distance.

While each person’s experience of Reiki is different, it is not uncommon for clients to report increased relaxation, greater peace of mind and improved physical comfort.

In-Person Session: The client sits or lies on a table, fully clothed, while a Reiki practitioner delivers Reiki through various hand positions on or near the client’s body. 

Distance Session: The client schedules a session with the practitioner over the phone or via e-mail, but need not be on the phone when the practitioner sends the Reiki from a distance.

Reiki Classes: Periodically, Reiki classes will be offered.  Please contact us if you are interested in learning Reiki, whether for yourself, or to become a practitioner.

A six-hour workshop designed for caregivers, therapists, practitioners and those in search of deeper meaning in their relationships.

A Spiritual Approach to Grief
A three-hour class designed to help participants move through grief with grace, surrender and hope.

Rates

Quantum Energetic Disciplines (QED) and Reiki are not licensed by the state of California. Jennifer Hope Chmelka and Jane McCullick (practitioners) are not state-licensed and they are not licensed physicians. These techniques are alternative and complementary to healing arts services licensed by the state of California. Upon completion of the standard training programs of each of their respective techniques, practitioners received certification from Jo Dunning, the founder of QED, and from Reiki Master John Crundall and Reiki Master William Lee Rand. The nature of the services provided are consistent with what the National Institute of Health refers to as Energy Medicine or Energy Healing Therapy. These techniques are based on the theory that we can direct or transmit the flow of the life force energy within us, thereby promoting a greater sense of health and well-being.
